Top 5 All-Time Short Anime Series (To Binge In A Day)
You probably want to take a break after your typical binge of Naruto, One Piece, Gintama, or the 34th episode of SAO.
You want a lovely, brief series with no obligations and no potential for resentment.
We're going to look at the finest anime series that you can binge in a day, though I can't speak for that last part.
This entails no movies, only one season thus far, and 13 episodes or less.
1. Prison School
With 12 episodes and one OVA, Prison School is quite tall.
This show might seem like simple fan service, but there is much more to it.
In fact, it's so absurd no matter how you look at it that you hardly ever want to take it seriously. You also shouldn't. Even the show itself is not serious.
This excellent bizarre comedy features half-naked women, immature humour, and a main character that portrays what it would be like if hormones were actual people.
A word of advice: don't watch this in front of anyone who is unfamiliar with Prison School. It might be humorous, but it's certainly not work-appropriate humour.
2. Charlotte
Charlotte can be divided into two parts: before and after the tone shift.
Before the tone shift, this is just a really adorable anime about a bunch of high school students who utilise their extremely special powers to aid other people with abilities.
Oh my, does it alter now.
The stakes are quite high, and you suddenly have an action-packed show without much in the way of plot armour. The conclusion was excellent in my opinion, but it might not be for everyone. Because the episode is so brief.
In total, Charlotte features 13 episodes plus a one-episode special. So you can see what I'm talking about in a few hours.
3. Darwin’s Game
It's time for a royal combat!
There have been several Mirai Nikki imitators, but I believe Darwin's Game can stand on its own without any issues.
As hazily noted, the key to moving on and, uh, not getting killed yourself, is to make alliances with other players and murder them.
The constant presence of mortality makes this series undoubtedly "edgy." And in no way, shape, or form is it censored or humane.
There is only one 11-episode season available right now. But I sincerely hope that in the future, we'll receive more (diaries).
4. Death Parade
Death Parade really does capture the essence of what makes a great concert.
The figures are easily recognisable and the painting is polished. The series' concept is great, and the soundtrack is an absolute banger.
The story revolves mostly around an universe in which recently departed people are teleported to a pub where they participate in games that will determine their fate. Are they going to be reborn? Will they vanish into nothingness?
However, what will this reveal most about their personality?
It's just a bad there are only 12 episodes because the tale is so incredible.
5. Elfen Lied
Holy mother, what a start. One of those shows, Elfen Lied, has gore and death, so you don't want to eat while viewing it.
At least in the first episode. The tone is then lowered to help you recover from the trauma before picking back up later in the 13 episode run.
Elfen Lied is a classic anime, in my opinion. It was published in 2004, but in my opinion it still holds up today.
Additionally, it serves as a reminder of what shows were like before everything was restricted and before everything turned hentai.
