The Top 10 Mysterious Anime
I'll guess as to why you're here. You enjoy anime and mystery. I can infer that you enjoy a mix of the two. Who doesn't, then?
These programmes frequently rank among the genre's most exciting and suspenseful offerings. They can be mild brainteasers or vicious brainteasers. These shows frequently demand that you carefully consider and mull over your actions. After all, the essence of the genre is to be extremely mysterious!
10. Zetsuen no Tempest (Blast of Tempest)
A show that minces the mind with mystery is ranked number 10. Although not flawless, I believe the series is good enough to rank in the top 10.
Zetsuen no Tempest is a gem in the rough because it has amazing aesthetics, smooth animation, and a cast of endearing characters. Everything would be perfect if it didn't lose its momentum after the first half. However, for a production that is essentially based on two of Shakespeare's extraordinary plays—The Tempest and Hamlet—this one will leave you speechless.
9. Zankyou no Terror (Terror in Resonance)
It may be a controversial decision, but Zankyou no Terror deserves to be ranked nine.
Despite all of its problems, I believe this concert can still shine in the areas of art and sound. Many people would argue that the story is nearly perfect, but I must respectfully disagree. Its beginning and end are satisfying, but I don't think the middle fits quite properly. But that's just my viewpoint.
8. Durarara!!
A bizarre rollercoaster ride called Durarara!! features a diverse cast of characters who just so happen to have their fates entwined in Ikebukuro. This isn't your typical anime show, I'm telling you that right now. It has the power to completely cloud your judgement and perplex you. Although this is not a terrible thing, the only way to enjoy this show is to voluntarily
Similar to its predecessor Baccano!, a fantastic series in its own right, this show is episodic in style. I advise you to try quickly adjusting to its format. Just take pleasure in the trip while it lasts; that's all part of the enchantment.
7. Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East)
Anime Higashi no Eden might not be well-known, but I guarantee it will blow you away! I had to include it on this list because I've already seen it a dozen times as a fan. Do not be concerned; it is very worthwhile!
Although Higashi no Eden doesn't have the best visuals, its plot and execution more than make up for it. Yes, at first glance the story may seem illogical. But if you persist, the puzzle's pieces will eventually come together. This is what makes a great mystery anime so special.
6. Mirai Nikki (Future Diary)
I'd be remiss if I failed to include Mirai Nikki here. Many people would probably concur that this is among the best anime ever made. The show combines elements of the thriller, action, mystery, and psychological subgenres. These genres' various facets combine to create a unique synergy that is unmatched in other shows. Mirai Nikki is a masterpiece that elicits all of your emotions and then shatters them, leaving you speechless for days on end.
5. Hyouka
A spectacle that is stunning on the outside and much more stunning inside comes in at number five on this list. The result would be an anime that was not only rich in content but also wonderful in every way if you dissected it and examined every little element.
Hyouka is not your typical anime mystery. There is no agenda including terror, crime, or evil. It simply depicts everyday, uncomplicated living. It attempts to resolve problems that are quite real, the puzzles of daily existence. It's a welcome diversion from all the upsetting things. Hyouka will allay all your concerns thanks to its endearing core, serene atmosphere, and endearing cast.
4. Death Note
Without Death Note, this list would be incomplete. The only word to describe the show is amazing! It enjoys the attention, intrigue, and acclaim it receives.
I don't know where to begin discussing this programme because there is so much to say. I'll limit myself to saying only one crucial item as a result. The profound mystery anime Death Note will choke you with suspense and engross you in its revelry. There is no going back once you start viewing it!
3. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi (ERASED)
With its fantastic and lovely directing, this show takes the third place on the list. It is Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, of course!
This series is a captivating work of art with a moving narrative and an unstyled visual appeal. These characteristics are combined with the evocative music and standout voice acting. You'll never forget this mysterious anime, I promise. It makes sense why it was one of the most watched programmes in 2016.
2. Monster
We finally discover a significant hidden treasure. The television programme Monster tells a complex tale with great characters and fascinating plot developments. You will be forced to consider your own principles, the state of the world, and the duality of good and evil as a result of this show's singular experience. Don't allow the show's age or length of 74 episodes deter you from watching it. By the time it's all over, I can guarantee that you will have recognised a classic.
1. Detective Conan (Case Closed)
You probably don't find this shocking, but I'll say it again: when it comes to mysteries, Detective Conan is without a doubt the undisputed expert! It is the total deal and goes above and beyond what anyone could ever need. Within its mysteries, the series has amassed a large number of stories from many genres. They occasionally fall flat, but that is to be expected from a show that has been on the air for so long. This series tops all others in quality.
